
Reneé Loewen Ediger, MA, CCC-SLP is a speech-language pathologist. She received a master’s degree in communication disorders and sciences from Wichita State University in 1993 and is certified with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Reneé completed the requirements for listing in the International Association of Laryngectomees (IAL) Directory of Instructors of Alaryngeal Speech in 1999.
She joined Mid-Kansas ENT in 2002 and participates in patient evaluation and treatment for a variety of voice and swallowing disorders. She also provides training to laryngectomy patients for electrolarynx and tracheoesophageal (TEP) voice prosthesis education and replacement.
Her specialties include videostroboscopy (diagnostic procedure used to examine the vocal cords to identify potential voice or swallowing disorders), voice disorders, head and neck cancer, and dysphagia (swallowing difficulty). Reneé enjoys educating patients and helping them improve their speech, language, and swallowing skills.
Born in Newton, KS and raised in Halstead, KS, Reneé is married to a property claims adjuster and enjoys traveling, exercising, and spending time with her three children and dogs.
