Isabelle Wolters, M.A., CF-SLP

Isabelle Wolters, M.A., CF-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist. She graduated with her master’s degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) from Wichita State University in 2025. She is also Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) certified, working to increase vocal loudness and intensity for people with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions.

Isabelle was inspired to pursue her specialty at age 10 when her brother was 4 and not yet talking. “My parents took him to see an SLP, and with a lot of time and effort from my parents, the SLP, and my brother, he began to talk,” she said. “I was inspired by how she was able to help him and decided I wanted to help people in the same way.”

According to Isabelle, one of the biggest hurdles for patients with speech and communication disorders is the emotional toll it takes on them. “It can limit their participation in social activities and their ability to express themselves,” she explained. “I love voice therapy because it helps give people their identity back by helping them communicate more efficiently.”

Outside of work, Isabelle enjoys being outside and spending time with her husband, Jonah, mini Australian Shepherd, Nella, her parents and seven siblings. She is expecting a baby boy in September 2025.
