Courtney Morris is an audiology resident studying for her Doctor of Audiology degree (May 2025) at Wichita State University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Oklahoma State University.

Courtney enjoys assisting patients with hearing loss on their journey to improved hearing. “Everyone is different and has their own unique experience when being diagnosed with hearing loss and subsequently fit with amplification devices,” she said. “I find great joy in collaborating with my patients to discover the best hearing solution for them.”

A native of Tulsa, OK, Courtney moved to Wichita in 2022 to attend WSU. She was inspired to pursue the ENT field because of the variety of patients she could interact with on a daily basis. She joined the Mid-Kansas ENT team because of the upbeat environment and comprehensive care patients receive.

Courtney’s focus is improving patients’ quality of life through use of amplification. “I like to focus on the patient’s individual wants and needs,” she said. “Everyone is seeking something different when they pursue amplification. It’s important to focus on their specific goals.”

Courtney believes the biggest hurdle for patients with hearing loss is acceptance. “Navigating life with hearing loss and adapting to hearing aids can be challenging,” she said. “Like most things, it becomes easier with both patience and time.”

When she’s not at work, Courtney likes spending time with her husband, Mitchell, and their dog, Prince. She enjoys taking Prince on walks, cooking/baking, trying new restaurants, catching up on her favorite TV shows, crocheting and spending time with family and friends.

“My goal is to make my patients feel seen, heard and cared for.”
