Karissa Reid, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). A native Wichitan, Karissa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Newman University, then went on to obtain her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies at Union College in Lincoln, NE. After graduation, she worked as a pediatric hospitalist in Oklahoma City for three years before joining Mid-Kansas ENT in 2022. Karissa enjoys the variety of patients she works with and loves most of all building relationships with her patients and serving them over the long-term. Karissa is married to her high school sweetheart, Shaun, and they relocated to Wichita when their daughter, Raegan, was born in order to be closer to family. Outside of work, Karissa loves spending time with family, friends, and their Labrador retrievers, Gentry and Kash. As a family, the Reids enjoy shooting trap, fishing, watching sports and movies, and taking trips to Colorado.
